Mind your business!
That's what this episode is basically about. Let her do what she has found in order to live her healthy life without you telling her it's not correct.
We all have our opinions on what is right and what is wrong. That is a good thing. That opinion, however, is yours for you! Not for her.
Quite often, as Molly speaks about being guilty of in the past, we regurgitate what we hear. As opposed to learning for ourselves what is true and what is not true.
The hope that Ashley and Molly have with this episode is that you can learn from their mistakes. Be open to evolve. Allow others to live their own journey without feeling the need to pipe in on what you think about what they are doing or not doing.

When it comes to social media, did you know that you are the one who is ultimately controlling what you see?
It's true. When you like, follow and save something - over time - whatever the theme is that you are attracted to is suggested to you more and more.
So if you're seeing negativity on social media - change your environment. If you are following influencers who, by watching their lives, cause you to feel bad about your life - stop following them.
There is good, bad and ugly on social media...just like in the every day world around us. It can take a toll on us if we aren't smart consumers.
There is also a lot of fakestagram happening. Being aware will help you to stop coveting the "perfect" ones you're seeing out there.
Also - remember that just because someone isn’t sharing everything about their lives does NOT mean they are fake. There is a such thing as over sharing - which Ashley and Molly get into. Molly was an open book - over sharing everything - for most of her life.
Well, almost everything. Not the dirty little secrets she didn’t want anyone to know. Ashley helps Molly understand, like no therapist has before, why she did that for so long. Not because Ashley’s a therapist, but because Ashley was the same way.
(The ladies never speak from a place of expertise. Only experience. Today’s episode is no exception. While they do get into the psychology of it, they are not giving medical/professional advice. Seek help by a licensed pro if you resonate with what they speak of.)
At the end of the day, social media gives you exactly what you're looking for. Be a smart consumer when it comes to social media. Protect your peace.

By now, you must know that this podcast is all about keeping it real.
Today's episode is specifically on keeping it real - with yourself!
It's very easy to lie to oneself as they travel the road to success in whatever it is they are reaching for.
As you listen to today's episode, maybe do some self evaluation. If you are on a weight loss journey and you made your plan, are you truly sticking to your plan? Are you tracking everything you are eating? Are you leaving things out because it looks better on your tracker? Are you eating in secret? If no one saw it, it didn't count?
Both Ashley and Molly share their experiences with living in denial. One thing they both have learned in life - you MUST be real. All success begins with being honest... and the honesty must be directed toward self first.
You can continue deceiving yourself, but if you do - you will not reach your goals.

Keto is unhealthy. You should try intuitive eating.
You aren't losing weight because you're keto. You're losing weight because you're in a calorie deficit. CICO is all you need to be focused on if you want to lose weight.
Keto is not sustainable. How can you never eat bread or fruit again?
Have you heard these opinions swimming out there on social media and internet articles? We sure have. It amazes us how much hate Keto gets from so many folks - who likely aren't even educated or experienced in keto to even be qualified to give the advice they are giving.
Yes there are loads of opinions out there.
And here's one of ours - personal experience speaks volumes over book knowledge.
When it comes to weight loss - it is NOT a one size fits all answer.
If you want to learn more about Keto, go to someone who has studied keto. Don't listen to those who make their (strong) opinions based on their limited understanding. The truth is, if those folks actually understood what Keto was all about, they would not speak of it like they do.
Listen in on us discussing the way we used to keto versus how we keto now. As well as, we discuss the things we see and hear about Keto that baffle us.
