Burn out is a real issue this time of year. People often expect to start January feeling rested and reset, but actually as amazing as Christmas is, it can sap a lot of our energy. January should time for really prioritising self care, for setting good boundaries to take with us over the year, and for protecting our own energy levels first before then using what we have spare to help and support others. We share some tips that have worked for us on how to preserve our energy levels by recognising what feelings and emotions belong to us and what don't, setting boundaries with the people and roles in our life like work or running a family, and making time for some all important self care.
