We’ve got about 90 days until the new year. Not enough time to become a completely different person overnight—but more than enough time to change direction, build momentum, tighten your habits, and prove to yourself that you can finish the year differently than you started it.This episode is about locking in.Running the play.Stopping the constant overthinking, second-guessing, restarting, and waiting for motivation. You already know some of what you need to do.Now it’s time to execute. We also talk about love—and how real love has to start inside first. If you don’t know how to value yourself, spend time with yourself, forgive yourself, and become someone you can trust, you’ll keep asking other people to give you what you haven’t learned how to give yourself. The next 90 days aren’t about becoming perfect. They’re about becoming more aligned.More disciplined.More present.More loving.More consistent. So stop changing the game plan every five minutes.Run the play. And let the results speak.

This episode is about loyalty, old relationships, church, healing, class, and the difference between being treated like a case file and being treated like a human being.I went back to church today for the first time since my baptism. What stood out to me was how simple it felt: people showing up, praying for each other, talking about Paul, his mission, who walked with him, and what it means to actually help people. At some point, the conversation turned into whether the rich can really connect with the poor. And I kept thinking:If you want to get somebody out of hell, you have to teach them what heaven can look like. Not just preach at them. Not just tell them to “do better.”Show them another way to live.Isn’t that part of what church is supposed to be?Isn’t that part of faith?Helping people put the broken pieces of their spirit back together. Then my cousin texts me and tells me he’s talking to the ex he was supposed to marry. Meanwhile, his current girlfriend is calling while he’s on the phone with the ex.And he says:“It’s my ex-girlfriend over everything. I don’t want my girlfriend fucking our shit up.”I immediately said:That’s the name of the podcast.Because underneath the joke is a real question:What happens when somebody from your past still has emotional priority over the person standing in your present? Can you truly build something new while protecting an old connection like it’s sacred? When does loyalty become unfinished business? When does history become disrespect? And if your current partner feels threatened by a relationship you refuse to redefine, is she “messing things up” — or is the situation already complicated? That’s where the conversation gets uncomfortable.Because sometimes the person we blame for disturbing the peace is actually reacting to a peace that was never clearly established.

I realized something while cooking.I’m so used to fast food that when I cook for myself, I’ll keep the fire low for ten minutes, get impatient because the food isn’t done yet, then turn the heat all the way up and almost ruin it.And that hit me.That’s how a lot of us live.We want the result before the process has had time to work.We want the body before the discipline. The money before the financial habits. The relationship before the communication skills. The career before the reps. The audience before the craft. We keep trying to start at the finish line. This episode is about impatience, fear, rejection, sex, communication, faith, discipline, personal responsibility, and what it actually takes to stay sharp when life gives you an opportunity you weren’t prepared for.I tell the story of making money from Fantastic and Only Improving after exposing the brand on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and realizing I had a choice: use the opportunity to build something—or spend the money experiencing everything I felt like I had missed.I talk about why I wrote “Bad Guy” after realizing being overly nice isn’t the same as being effective, why friendliness can’t replace competence, and why sometimes the most loving thing you can do is stop making excuses for yourself. We also get into women and attraction. If you take sex completely off the table when approaching a woman, what’s actually left for you to talk about? Can you connect? Can you listen? Can you be curious? Can you communicate without needing the interaction to become something?Because there are going to be moments when you desperately need someone to talk to—and nobody will be immediately available. You better know how to communicate with other people. And you better know how to sit with yourself. This is ultimately about one question:Am I doing everything in my power to stay sharp?

You can’t be a slave and be free at the same time.At some point, you have to decide whether you’re going to keep letting fear, trauma, disappointment, debt, shame, old habits, and other people’s expectations tell you how to move—or whether you’re going to remember who you are and start living from that place. This episode is about restoration. Not just being “freed” from what had you bound, but returning to the dignity, purpose, discipline, and identity you were supposed to carry in the first place.Because sometimes freedom doesn’t feel comfortable. It doesn’t feel good being told to go to class. It doesn’t feel good being corrected. It doesn’t feel good being trained. It doesn’t feel good being stretched. But the result can feel a whole lot better than the resistance. This is about understanding that growth is not here to make you comfortable. It’s here to make you capable. And maybe some of the instructions you resist are actually the gateway out of the very thing that keeps disappointing, destroying, or draining you.The question is simple:Are you still moving like someone who is trying to escape—or are you moving like someone who knows where they’re going?

There are things I know I can do for 48 hours straight if I let myself: eat, masturbate, watch Netflix, scroll, stay comfortable, and avoid everything that requires effort. That’s the problem.Comfort is easy to repeat.Purpose is harder. In this episode of Road to Victory, I’m confronting one of the biggest patterns in my life: unplanned time turns into self-sabotage.When there’s dead space in my day, I don’t always fill it with something that moves me forward. Sometimes I fill it with food, porn, distraction, fantasy, and habits that give me relief without giving me a life. That made me ask a harder question:Am I struggling with weight because I lack discipline—or because I keep creating days with no structure and expecting willpower to save me?We talk about planning your day to win, why comfort zones can quietly become prisons, and why you need something more meaningful than fried chicken, sex, masturbation, and Netflix to wake up excited about your own life.We also get into confidence. My brother Lance reminded me that I never needed alcohol to be the life of the party. The personality was already there. So what else have I been giving credit to that was actually inside me the whole time? Then we get into women, attraction, and what happens when you go from being open to almost any experience to becoming more intentional about what you actually want. And once you identify what you’re genuinely attracted to, another question shows up:“Do I believe I’m worthy of the thing I say I want?”Finally, we talk about how the past can steal your presence. You replay that old conversation where you should’ve spoken up.You imagine what you should’ve said. You rewrite the moment a hundred times. And while you’re arguing with yesterday in your head, you miss the words you need today. You cannot change the line you missed five years ago.But you can stop missing the line happening right now. This episode is about structure, discipline, self-worth, attraction, presence, and creating a life that gives you something bigger to live for than your easiest pleasures.

There are seasons when nobody is calling, nobody is looking for you, and nobody seems to need you. At first, that silence can feel like loneliness. But maybe it’s not rejection.Maybe it’s miracle territory.A season where God gives you enough space, time, and grace to finally hear yourself clearly. In this episode of Road to Victory, I reflect on what happens when you stop giving all of your attention to the outside world and start asking deeper questions about who you are, who you’re becoming, and what you’re meant to give.We talk about solitude versus isolation, why the world is constantly competing for your time, energy, and money, what it means to become comfortable with yourself, and why social connection can feel awkward when you’ve spent too much time inside your own head.Maybe the miracle isn’t that everything around you suddenly changes.Maybe the miracle is that you finally do.Miracle Territory is about learning who you are when nobody is watching, so when life opens back up, you can show up as yourself instead of performing for everyone else.Fantastic and Only Improving.

What would you need to do, give, forgive, or become if you knew you had only three days left? Not because you’re planning to die.Because knowing life ends forces you to stop negotiating with the things that matter. After reading the first chapter of The Way of the Superior Man, I started thinking about masculine integrity, purpose, forgiveness, discipline, solitude and the gifts we keep telling ourselves we’ll give “one day.”God has given me time and grace to figure out who I am.But I’ve spent a lot of the time when I was supposed to be paying attention to myself…paying attention to everybody else.So maybe this season isn’t punishment.Maybe it’s an invitation.A season where the phone gets quieter.Nobody is looking for you.Nobody desperately needs you.And now you finally have enough silence to hear yourself. The question becomes:When are you going to get your act together? Not when life gets easier. Not when everybody understands you.Not when you feel completely confident.Now.Because your deepest gift shouldn’t die inside you while you’re waiting to feel ready.

Today on Road to Victory, I’m sitting down with my 18-year-old cousin Breanna for a conversation about what life looks like at the beginning of adulthood. We talk about growing up in Coney Island, Brooklyn, being the second oldest of four siblings, her relationship with her older sister, what responsibility feels like inside a big family, and what she thinks she wants her future to look like.At 18, everybody starts asking you the same question:“What are you going to do with your life?”But maybe that question is too big.Maybe the better questions are:Who are you becoming? What are you curious about? What kind of life do you want? What kind of people do you want around you?And what do you believe about yourself before the world starts deciding for you? This episode is about youth, family, Brooklyn, uncertainty, ambition, and giving yourself permission to figure life out one step at a time.

Nine weeks in a row.Nine weeks of paying for studio time.Nine weeks of showing up.And now I’m sitting at home listening to the work asking myself a question I can’t avoid anymore:Am I actually going to take this craft seriously, or am I eventually going to have to find something else to do?Because dreaming is easy.Paying for the dream every week is different.Practicing is different.Listening back critically is different.Accepting when something isn’t good enough is different. And doing all of that while tired, frustrated, dealing with bad customer service, trying to protect your money, fighting distractions, maintaining your relationship with God, showing up for family, and still trying to become something greater—that’s the actual Road to Victory.I could stay home.I could waste entire days chasing quick pleasure.I could watch porn, scroll, disappear into entertainment and avoid every uncomfortable responsibility. And some days, that sounds easier. But easier and more important are not the same thing. What’s important? My spiritual life.My dreams. My family. My health. My craft. The people who genuinely support me.And yes—my TikTok family too.Tonight isn’t about pretending temptation doesn’t exist. It’s about deciding what deserves my life more.

This episode starts with a conversation between brothers about something simple that turned into something much deeper:If I get jumped, don’t defend my honor. That idea challenged me because I’ve always connected love with loyalty, protection, and being willing to stand beside somebody when things get ugly. Then the conversation went even further.I said part of the reason relationships scare me is because real love feels serious enough that there may be moments where you have to risk everything for your person. My brother’s response?“You shouldn’t be with nobody you ain’t willing to die for.”But does loving somebody mean dying for them?Or does mature love mean being committed enough to live wisely for them?We get into friendship, relationships, masculinity, confrontation, loyalty, why your partner and your friends are some of the few people in life you actually get to choose, and why choosing somebody should probably require more discernment than chemistry alone.Plus—I’ve got another situation.A woman I used to date just set me up on a date with somebody else. And I genuinely don’t know how I’m supposed to feel about that.Road to Victory gets uncomfortable tonight.
