Today on Road to Victory, I’m sitting down with my 18-year-old cousin Breanna for a conversation about what life looks like at the beginning of adulthood.

We talk about growing up in Coney Island, Brooklyn, being the second oldest of four siblings, her relationship with her older sister, what responsibility feels like inside a big family, and what she thinks she wants her future to look like.

At 18, everybody starts asking you the same question:

“What are you going to do with your life?”

But maybe that question is too big.

Maybe the better questions are:

Who are you becoming?

What are you curious about?

What kind of life do you want?

What kind of people do you want around you?

And what do you believe about yourself before the world starts deciding for you?
