Welcome back to TURTZED:

Today Paula will join us to discuss pushing yourself outside your comfort zone and how the fear of taking a first step, may be a sign of great things to come. We will discuss Paula’s masters in education and how that has impacted and propelled her career even though she was not a teacher. Paula discusses how she has always pushed herself towards financial freedom and the life she wants to create, and just as important, when to pause so you don’t push yourself too far. She has stayed true to herself and her authentic connections have led to an amazing new journey for her.

Episode Takeaways:

  1. True connections are hard to find and when you find the right ones, it is important to nurture and maintain them.

  2. Take the first step even if it’s scary, you never know where it is going to lead you.

  3. Keep an open mind, notice opportunities and be ready to explore.

  4. When something feels like it is missing, reflection can help you understand what is missing and how to fill that void.

  5. Don’t be afraid to break things up. Understand that hitting a ceiling doesn’t mean you are the problem, the environment may no longer serve you and it’s time to make room to nurture bigger and better things.
