Episode 4: Daisies
This week I am discussing the 1966 iconic, surrealist Czech masterpiece "Daisies". It's a wild trip that tells the story of two young women who decide to lead a spoiled life.  I apologize for the low volume and mistakenly saying "blaming the blaming of this film" instead of "blaming the *banning* of this film" when discussing, around 9 mins in, why censors chose to ban the film due to food waste.  Thanks for listening! love you all. Episode 3: Paris, Texas
This 80's art classic is a must see and my favorite of Sofia Coppola's recommendations so far. The plot focuses on a vagabond named Travis (Harry Dean Stanton) who, after mysteriously wandering out of the desert,  reunites with his and seven-year-old son (Hunter Carson). The two of them embark on a voyage through the American Southwest to track down Travis' missing wife (Natasha Kinski). With Sam Sheppard's writing, Wim Wender's Directing, and Texas as the film's backdrop- you won't be disappointed. Listen for my thoughts on this masterpiece! :)

Episode 1: Let The Right One In
Join me every week as I watch and review movies Sofia Coppola has recommended, because, why not! In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to start with “Let The Right One In” a Swedish horror romance movie (not often three words used in a sentence?) directed by Tomas Alfredson, based on the novel by John Ajivide Lindqvist. The film tells the story of an outcast preteen boy, Oskar (Kåre Hedebrant), who meets and falls in love with a vampire, Eli (Lina Leandersson). This horror film is truly a work of art and far surpasses most of its contemporaries.
