This 80's art classic is a must see and my favorite of Sofia Coppola's recommendations so far. The plot focuses on a vagabond named Travis (Harry Dean Stanton) who, after mysteriously wandering out of the desert,  reunites with his and seven-year-old son (Hunter Carson). The two of them embark on a voyage through the American Southwest to track down Travis' missing wife (Natasha Kinski). With Sam Sheppard's writing, Wim Wender's Directing, and Texas as the film's backdrop- you won't be disappointed. Listen for my thoughts on this masterpiece! :)
