In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to start with “Let The Right One In” a Swedish horror romance movie (not often three words used in a sentence?) directed by Tomas Alfredson, based on the novel by John Ajivide Lindqvist. The film tells the story of an outcast preteen boy, Oskar (Kåre Hedebrant), who meets and falls in love with a vampire, Eli (Lina Leandersson). This horror film is truly a work of art and far surpasses most of its contemporaries.
