Adam Turkington - Seedhead Arts
Seedhead Arts founder Adam Turkington joins us this week! Seedhead curated all of the incredible street art popping up across Belfast, Bangor and Ards. They offer guided tours of the Belfast art, tickets available from The Black Box. In addition to Seedhead, creative producer Adam has a business called Daisy Chain Inc. which creates a vital link between Government bodies who have money to spend and the artists who need it. We're not being Ultracrepidarian when we talk about 'Cabin In The Woods', nor when we learn what a 'Joint' is in Opening Hip Hop. Do the World a favour and listen to John Prine's self titled album from 1971, and that's coming from someone who thinks Hip Hop is the gods' music.

Dr Gillian Shorter - Addiction Psychologist
This week we get bollocked so you don't have to! Gillian works in QUB, lecturing in clinical psychology, she has spent the last 15 years researching drug and alcohol abuse. She's done studies into what quantity of which substance people have taken in a night club, how the alcohol unit guidance does work in the real world of harm reduction and how artists and musicians' mental health is affected by offers of 'working for exposure' or perhaps worse, being paid in alcohol. Sounds like heavy stuff talk but I don't think it is, can't remember. I do know that the album everyone should listen too is Biggie's 'Ready To Die' however ;-)

The Safe Word Is Sublime
Billy-Bout-Yous! In 'What Is My Car Doing' you'll learn how to get your car ready for winter. Is Mac Miller's posthumous album 'Circles' a sad insight into his demise? [email protected]
