What is "The Sandwich Generation?" The “sandwich generation” is the “caught in the middle” generation who have living parents and children. More specifically, the term often refers to middle-aged people who support both their parents and their children, whether financially, physically or emotionally.  This week, we chat about our specific experiences living in the sandwich generation and the emotions that come up from that. Ep. 7: Holism - Cultural Differences in Motherhood- We Are Different, We Are The Same
This week, we put our own spin on defining Culture. Culture can mean so many different things; from race and ethnicity, to religion and socioeconomic status. We each come from a unique set of circumstances, and yet, we collectively agonize over many of the same things. There will always be a common thread throughout humanity whether we are black, white, brown or rainbow. We can all feel seen in one another. And that's really beautiful. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashika-mehta-ombe/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ashika-mehta-ombe/support
