People pleasing isn’t just being “nice” it’s a subtle trap rooted in the need for approval, acceptance, and affirmation from others, often at the cost of your identity, peace, and obedience to God. In Romans 12:1, we are called to present our lives as a living sacrifice to God, yet many of us live exhausted, pouring out for everyone else while running on empty within. Anchored in Galatians 1:10, this episode confronts the question: who are you really living for? Because the truth is, you cannot fully serve God while being controlled by people’s opinions.We explore three key antidotes: fear God, not people because reverence for God, as seen in Proverbs 9:10, breaks the grip of human approval; live for an Audience of One where your identity is rooted in God, not applause; and obey God over human pressure choosing truth over acceptance, as declared in Acts 5:29. This week I have a special guest his name is Manny Ade, he is a believer in Jesus Christ. we talked about the current trend of “cancel culture”?. Our discussion stemmed from our anchor scripture, John 15: 18-20 which shows Jesus was blunt by saying: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you” (John 15:18–19). Paul added his warning: “All who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:12–13). My prayer is that we all exemplify the love of Christ in our regular dealing with people and that we live a life that shine the light of Christ.

There is a misconception that Christ is only looking for perfect people whom he can send on assignment, for the furtherance of his work here on hear. In today episode we would delve into the four attributes God requires of those who want to be greatly use by him. Our discussion would be premised on the story of Noah and how he built an ark for God. We would read Genesis 6:9-22, Genesis 9:21 & Titus 2:11-12.

On today’s episode we would be discussing in line with Paul submission in Romans 7:15-25. Apostle Paul makes the submission that “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate i do”- Romans 7:15. We would be discussing on the frailty of humanity and how we all struggle with certain flaws in our life. We would look at some people in the Bible who also had flaws; like Jonah, Abraham, Lot’s wife etc.

Today our discuss would be on the topic of being rooted and grounded in Christ. Society has painted a false narrative that it’s cool to love God on the sideline or to rooted in the following, sex, money, friendships, statues, titles, price possessions, security, success, power, influence, etc. In other to be uprooted from the love of earthly possessions over God we must ask ourselves these questions What does our heart long for? Does it treasure the things of this world? Am I rooted and grounded? if so what I am rooted in. We would read some of the following verse of scriptures: Mathew 6:19-21, Jeremiah 17:7-8, psalm 11:3, Colossians 2:6-7, Jude 1:20, Daniel 4:29-32, John 15:4-5, psalm 20:7.
