People pleasing isn’t just being “nice” it’s a subtle trap rooted in the need for approval, acceptance, and affirmation from others, often at the cost of your identity, peace, and obedience to God. In Romans 12:1, we are called to present our lives as a living sacrifice to God, yet many of us live exhausted, pouring out for everyone else while running on empty within. Anchored in Galatians 1:10, this episode confronts the question: who are you really living for? Because the truth is, you cannot fully serve God while being controlled by people’s opinions.We explore three key antidotes: fear God, not people because reverence for God, as seen in Proverbs 9:10, breaks the grip of human approval; live for an Audience of One where your identity is rooted in God, not applause; and obey God over human pressure choosing truth over acceptance, as declared in Acts 5:29.
