Healing in a vacuum does not work, it is a communal act.

This is a practice that is challenging because there are so many layers to it. But once we begin to really forgive others, our past and ourselves, the journey of healing can become a more enjoyable one.

Learning how to navigate rough moments in life can be a life saver… seriously. The pain that we avoid compounds and grows when we are not able to use the resources for dealing with and facing into the pain. This is a topic that we’ll come back to at some point because we’ll always need ways to heal.

It's been a little while, I shouldn't have left you. But now I'm back and I am so excited about the new horizon that I'm moving toward. To get back into the groove I wanted to talk about starting where you're at. No better time like the present.

Ok so I must admit that this practice is one that I am still struggling with. I have come to the understanding that trust is an action word and if I am going to lean into or be in the practice of trust, I have to actually TRUST! And that trust must come from me first before I can extend that to anyone else. So in this episode I talk about how trusting yourself can be the bridge/gateway to trusting others.

We dive into the ways that ancestral healing can show up and how you can recognize the healing that you may be experiencing in your life right now. Also, did you know that ancestral healing isn’t only relegated to your bloodline?

Man let me tell you something! It is rare that when I listen back to an episode that I recorded that I feel chills as I’m editing. This one gave me the chills y’all! I share with you my journey around my non-binary identity which I believe I discussed in season one but this time I’ve had more time to flesh out this awareness of myself and to also see how this identity expands beyond just the body and sexual gender, but into realm around healing and how I am in relationship with other people.
