After a lot of thought, tears, and taking a hard look at ourselves, we’ve decided to press pause on this podcast indefinitely while we consider what’s next for us.
Those of you who have been following us for a while know the toll 2020 put on our business as a whole and how the last two years have been a struggle financially, emotionally, and creatively, and it’s been extremely difficult to find our way back to stabilization. However, during this painful process, we’ve discovered that we aren’t feeling aligned with what’s required of us on the digital front, and we wanted to openly and honestly share our struggles, concerns, and personal beliefs about social media, Internet culture, and where and why we’re drawing the line.
This podcast has been a great and supreme joy. We are so proud of it, and we are beyond grateful to the thousands and thousands of you who tune in.
We hope you take a moment to listen to our story and hear us when we say THANK YOU and we’ll be seeing you. We love this company we created. We are so glad it happened.
We love you!

Who do you become on December 1? Are you a balls-out magical Christmas Santa elf goddess? Are you a grumpy Grinch? Do you bake till your fingers bleed? Do you buy your neighbors presents? Is it all just super triggering?
This week, we asked some of our favorite funny moms to share their own Holiday Identities with us, and we comment and share our own holiday traditions, struggles, what we phone in, what we don’t, and a large debate ensues on how to pronounce Good King Wenceslas.
And if you want to follow Tracey’s epic holiday playlist on Spotify, here it is!
We hope this fun episode brings you some cheer while you’re wrapping presents and running to recitals!

Now is the time to rise up and become ANTI-anti-aging. And this episode is dedicated to the strong woman inside each of us who just gets better with age!
This week, we take a deep dive into the topic of aging through the lens of being a mom. It is funny, heartfelt, and informative, with a format unlike anything out there. We cover learning to love yourself as you grow older, letting one’s hair go gray (including messages from moms who grew their hair out during lockdown), and ultimately feeling good in the skin you’re in.
We interview pro-aging advocate, stylist, and influencer Wendy Euler of Goodbye Crop Top (she is also host of the hit podcast “Cropped”), and speak with top “gray transition” hairstylist April Markley. In addition to witty and honest banter between Tracey and Shayna, there are also messages from real moms across the U.S. and Canada sharing their thoughts on aging. As a special treat, we end with a HILARIOUS original song performed by Shayna Ferm.
The topic is incredibly timely and currently trending all across social. A change is in the air! This fun and funny episode will not only entertain but also resonate deeply with many women feeling alone.
We explore:
An eye-opening interview with Wendy Euler of Goodbye Crop Top
How to transition to gray with renowned hairstylist April Markley
Shay sings “Blonde,” and it is EVERYTHING
The luminous Tarot Lori shares how going gray completely transformed her life

As a bonus episode in our “Mommy Image” series, we’re bringing back one of our favorite interviews with one of our biggest BOM crushes: Goop beauty director and journalist Jean Godfrey-June.
Follow us on Instagram! @bandofmothersofficial
Jean offers tips and tricks on how moms can stay as fresh-faced as possible. (Because it IS possible — but you do need to be strategic.) Jean explains what is really aging moms (you’ll be surprised!) — babies are only a part of it! Plus, Jean reveals her number one “fountain of youth” secret.
And because we all love tips and tricks when it comes to skin care and makeup, Jean breaks down her favorite products on earth and shares why concealer is a must for every woman.

Confidence. Some moms have it, a lot of us don’t. And then what about style? What does “style” really even mean, and do we all possess it? Does it even matter?
For our first episode in the “Mommy Image” series, we break down insecurities, questions, and judgments about the outward way we carry ourselves in the world. We interview mom of two and personal stylist Heather Hope, we review a BOM Report, and we have a raw and vulnerable talk together about our own style and confidence issues.
From where we shop, to WHY we shop, to comments and reflections from real moms just like you about what makes them feel confident, this show is a fun and uplifting look at honoring your own unique qualities that give you your own (yes) style.
