#11 - Rejuvenating Your Art Career With Laura Madden
In this week’s episode we welcome Laura Madden to the Art For Wellness Podcast. Laura Madden is an artist, sustainable fashion advocate and influencer. In 2019 she decided to pursue her art professionally and created ReFashioned Art. She makes modern, abstract, fashionable art using repurposed materials to align with her mission of merging style + sustainability and helping people live a stylish lifestyle by creating luxury at home. Her brand's mission statement is to Create More Style. Less Waste. ReFashioned Art has been featured in many publications such as Modern Luxury Scottsdale, Iconic Life, So Scottsdale, The Redbook, Frontdoors and many more. Key Points In The Podcast  DANIELLE Artist Mindset Reset: What do you enjoy? What matters to you the most? Be consciously thinking about why you’re doing something and have gratitude. We artists all have our own fingerprint. We’re all unique. No-one else can be what you are - and that’s what people want to see - something different. No-one wants to see what’s already been done. You want to try something else - it’s understanding who you’re speaking to and connecting with their values, with their personality, with their interests and be able to create that kind of conversation. And that’s kind of how you build the values thought the emotions and you use and the way you’re coming across with your visual aesthetic and beauty - as well as about what you’re truing to include with the offering and the value. Visualising things can help you bring your goals to life - mentally, if you can make yourself physically feel the way you’d want to be feeling if you got somewhere - not just the what you achieve but also visualise the way you get there. Danielle’s Art Business Bootcamp: http://www.artforwellness.co.uk/bootcamp http://www.instagram.com/daniellebeckart LAURA You sharing your craft and selling your craft is adding value. Actively ask, how is it adding value to the world? How are you positively impacting someones life, and how can you find that value in your art? Follow your true passions. It’s about self acceptance with becoming an artist - accepting yourself as an artist. Connect to yourself and stepping into your true art passion. So for anyone considering sculpture painting fashion, whatever it is you do, find out how it would bring value. How are you bringing value to other people. Laser focus on that and the value you bring to everyone else. We all have our own unique blueprint and it’s going to be direct match for someone out there who aligns with your blueprint - You have to brainwash yourself into seeing the value and evidence that this will work - just focusing on that.
