I like you because there is a light within you that draws me toward you. This feeling of admiration and affection nourishes me before it reaches anyone else, and that is what makes it so precious.

我喜欢你，是因为你身上有吸引我的光，这份心动和欣赏，最先滋养的是我自己，这种感觉非常宝贵。

Do not turn affection into a rope that binds another person, nor into a tool for tormenting yourself.

不要把喜欢变成绑架对方的绳索，也别让它成为折磨自己的工具。

My feelings belong to me; they are part of my emotional journey and my experience of life.

我的喜欢是我自己的情感流动和生命体验。

They carry their own value and do not need to be proven by whether or not you choose to love me in return.

它本身就有价值，并不需要你必须喜欢我这个结果来证明。

I like you, but you are free.

我喜欢你，但你是自由的。

You have every right to accept or decline my affection.

你有权利接受或拒绝我的好感。

And I, too, have my own freedom and boundaries.
