This final piece of the Beginner's Guide to Fitness rounds out the 3-part series with an introduction to training concepts.


Unfortunately, training can't be taught 100% in a single podcast. With 10+ years of fitness experience and a good portion of those helping train and transform other people, it's pretty apparent at this point that training is a something that needs to be understood at a core level beyond just how to do the movement.


There are 5 topics covered in this episode relating to how I encourage a beginner think about fitness for the first time:


1) Use a "30 minutes per day AVERAGE" rule of thumb

2) Utilize "progressive overload" every 4-6 weeks
