Show notes
From Eric Berne's seminal book 'Game People Play', we look at the ways in which people communicate and structure time through social intercourse and 'Games'. We explore our human needs for Stimulus, Recognition and Structure hunger, and how we utilise ego states (Parent, Adult or Child) and systems of structuring time (Rituals, Pastimes, Activities, Games or Intimacy) to get these needs met. We then explore how to interact with more intimate and authentic communication, sharing our inner life candidly, without utilising avoidance strategies. This was all really interesting.
Hope you enjoy.
