Mount Rushmore of American Things 🇺🇸 In honor of Independence Day this week, we wanted to do a special episode listing our favorite American Things. We approached this episode with the goal of choosing things that are American icons and were created in the USA, perfected in the USA or just make you think of this great country. Before anyone gets too upset, we purposely left off things like the 4th of July, American Flag, the Constitution or the Star Spangled Banner because we wanted to go a little deeper with our picks, and avoid too much overlap between us. Mount Rushmore of Star Wars Characters We grew up with the original three Star Wars movies, the action figures and all the toys! At least one of us even had a Star Wars themed Halloween costume as a kid. We also enjoyed the prequels, the final trilogy and the various TV series that have taken us deeper into the Star Wars universe. All this means there are literally hundreds of characters to choose from. Humans, droids, aliens.... we have characters from ALL of those life forms in our picks! What did we miss? We know these songs and movies so well, in some cases you can name a song from the movie and we'll tell you the exact scene where that song was being played! In addition to adding an element to the movie, a great soundtrack lives on its own outside of the movie. Some of these soundtracks sold millions of copies on vinyl, cassette and/or CD.
