I was a pastor for 14 years. The church was great for me until it wasn’t. The church hadn’t changed, but I had. Since leaving the church, I have found that I am not alone. Leaving church does not mean abandoning God or spirituality. Many are discovering a profound experience of God separate from organized religion.
