We love celebrating women and all we do. Today we celebrate International Women’s Day as we talk about things that we as women do all the time and most of time without even thinking. Have you ever not gone for a walk alone at night because it wouldn’t be safe for you as a woman? Have you ever been followed, stared at and was totally scared, then told that either, he must like you, or you just made that up? Have you ever gone for a walk or run during the day and were constantly checking behind you or what about crossing the street when coming up to someone? Or how about not helping someone out who may need it, out of fear? Us too. We want to celebrate all we do and encourage us to continue looking out for each other. We also want to put out a call to men to be aware of these things we talk about and then choose to be apart of a solution. The theme of International Women’s Day is #ChooseToChallenge and that is what we want to do with our podcast today.
