
Tomas is a Costa Rican American grown up in North Carolina. At the age of 18, he decided to play D1 soccer at Stanford University. After 3 years and 1 quarter at Stanford, he was selected 2nd overall in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft by LA Galaxy. Tomas made his debut for the Galaxy on May 21, 2018 against the Montreal Impact. In December 2020, Tomas decided to retire from professional soccer and pursue an MBA degree. He studied for the GRE while playing for the Sacramento Republic and he will be a part of the MBA program at USC Marshall in Fall 2021.
