About Katya: She started her career studying electrical engineering at UCLA. Shortly after, she got her first internship at NASA and worked as a NASA engineer after graduation where she was able to move up in technical leadership ranks. She was later selected for her mission to Space. Now she is working on creating more Space related opportunities for Latin America in general.
