What You Need to Know About John 3:16
Gerald Weston - TVCA1501 - Jesus came to die the penalty for our sins. But what does that mean? The answer to this question may shock you. It can be found by studying one of the most famous passages in the entirety of scripture—John 3:16. Often referred to as ‘the Golden verse,’ this passage includes information vital to answering some of the most complex questions related to the Bible.

The Prophecy of the Millennium
Stuart Wachowicz - TVCA1502 - Throughout mankind’s history, illness, depression, crime, and war have been thought of as unfortunate but normal. Considerations of global societies where none of these problems exist are often dismissed as fanciful tales of ‘utopia.’ ‘Utopia’ usually refers to an imaginary state, not something that could happen in the real world. The Bible contains many prophecies of a time when conditions on the earth will lack the unpleasant realities we now consider normal. Explore the better world that will soon replace our present world order.

And Women Rule Over Them
The mishandling of student protests over Israel’s war in Gaza brought about the resignation of three Ivy League University Presidents in 2023 and 2024: Liz Magill of the University of Pennsylvania, Claudine Gay of Harvard, and Minouche Shafik of Columbia University. A fourth Ivy League President, Cornell’s Martha Pollack, also resigned, but claimed that she was considering stepping down prior to the protests. Strong calls were also made for Sally Kornbluth of MIT to resign amid the protests. Something that struck me at the time was that all five of these prestigious university presidents were women. This is not to say that the same would not have happened had men been in charge at the time, but it surprised me how much women were taking over the ranks of university education. For more perspective, not including interim presidents, the eight schools that make up the Ivy League have had 173 top leaders in their histories. During their long and distinguished histories, it was not until 1977 when Yale’s Hanna Gray became the first female to hold that position in an Ivy League school. Maurie McInnis now holds that position. But since Hanna Gray, the top positions have increasingly gone to women—15 altogether. Why such a turnaround? What does it mean? At the end of this Tomorrow’s World telecast, I’ll show you how one woman led Israel to victory when masculinity was a matter of question and seemingly in short supply. I’ll also show you that the turnaround that we see in today’s western society was prophesied 2,700 years ago in the pages of the Bible.

The Surprising Message of Micah the Prophet
A quarter to one third of the Bible is prophecy. And yet most people don’t take Bible prophecy seriously. Long-time viewers of Tomorrow’s World know that on this program, we not only discuss world news, current events, and Christian living. We discuss Bible prophecy. And it’s not just because it’s a curiosity. It’s not just to discuss exciting things about the future. If we have ears to hear, God has a message for us in His word… Especially as end-time events draw nearer. We need to understand Bible prophecy. So today on Tomorrow’s World, let’s dive into one of the prophetic books of the Old Testament. It’s one of the lesser-known books, one of the so-called Minor Prophets. The Minor Prophets are called that not because they are less important, but because they are much shorter. In fact, the book we’re talking about has only seven chapters. Which book am I referring to? The book of Micah. It’s found in your Bible, toward the end of the Old Testament. But what does the book of Micah have to do with you and me today? Is there something we can learn from it? Could this small, obscure book hold some unexpected treasures we can dig up, to help us as the end of the age draws near? Let’s answer these questions today on Tomorrow’s World.

Why Marriage? Why Family?
I’ll begin today’s program with two simple questions: “Why marriage?” and “Why family?” These are questions few consider, but they are among the most important of all questions as the answers have everything to do with the very purpose of your life. Let’s be clear, marriages and families are in disarray everywhere. The family institution, though healthier at some times than others and in some countries than others, has never been understood as it is seen by almost everyone as an institution created by man. But is it? Or is there more to marriage and family? In the wedding ceremony used by the Living Church of God, the sponsor of this Tomorrow’s World program, we state the following: Marriage is not only a natural union, but also a divine institution, ordained of God. It was established not by man, but by the Eternal God at creation, and derives its authority not from civil codes of man, but from the divine laws of God, immutable and unchangeable from creation. Is that true? Is marriage a divine institution? And if so, what is God’s purpose for marriage and family? These are the questions I’ll be answering on today’s program.

No Flesh Would Be Saved…
Almost 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ gave a dire warning: Mankind would eventually bring all life on earth to the point of extinction, and that only His return would prevent that catastrophe. The fulfillment of this prophecy seemed impossible until the end of World War II, when the first weapons of mass destruction were deployed against Japan. Yet in the decades that have followed, the ways in which humanity could commit planet-wide suicide have only increased, as the future Jesus prophesied has only become more realistic, not less. Join me for this episode of Tomorrow’s World, where we will take heed to Jesus’ warning that “No Flesh Would be Saved.”

Ezekiel and Extraterrestrials!
Close Encounters of the Third Kind was a science fiction drama that burst onto the big screen in 1977, and it was a blockbuster hit for writer and director Steven Spielberg. For our younger audience, who may be unfamiliar with the film, the main character, played by Richard Dreyfuss, was an electrical lineman. Through a long series of events too complicated to relay at this time, he ends up having a close encounter with extra-terrestrial beings who descend in the mothership of a group of Unidentified Flying Objects (a UFOs). Spielberg followed up with an even bigger hit five years later -- E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. This science fiction flick tells the story of a boy named Elliott, who comes in contact with a stranded extrater-restrial that he names E.T. In the end Elliott helps E.T. find his way back home. Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. are, of course, sheer fiction created in the minds of writers, directors and filmmakers. But do you realize there was a real encounter with extra-terrestrials found in the pages of the Bible. On this Tomorrow’s World program, I’m going to go into the account of Ezekiel’s close encounter of the first kind, what the message was that was given to him, and what it’s significance is for you and me.

God’s Fingerprints
Many claim that science has removed the need for a Creator. After all, they say, we now know that the universe began in a sort of “Big Bang”--expanding in every direction we can see. We understand the structure of matter--why it behaves the way it does, and the laws that govern it all. Closer to home, we understand life itself, they say. It simply evolved from non-living matter, with chance combinations of chemicals, enduring over time as they were somehow more fit for survival and duplication until, billions of years later, you have a world of whales, giraffes, bald eagles, and, yes, even television hosts. Yet, when you look more closely, those claims fall apart. Because in every aspect of the world--if you are willing to seek out and to accept the evidence--you see the fingerprints of a Divine Creator. Join us for this episode of Tomorrow’s World, where we will discover how science reveals God’s Fingerprints.

Will God Heal Me?
There’s great emotion in the air. The organist is playing a sentimental hymn, people are looking upward, waving their arms with tears streaming down their cheeks. A blind man is escorted onto the stage by an attendant. The popular evangelist asks him how long he has been blind, and does he believe Jesus will heal him? He answers: From birth and yes, he believes. The evangelist then hits the poor man on the forehead while loudly commanding, “Be Healed!” The man falls backward in some kind of trance into the arms of an attendant, and when he awakes, he blinks a few times and shouts “Thank you Jesus – I can see.” And the crowd erupts in cries of “Praise the Lord.” Thinking people wonder: Was this real? Or was it a show contrived by well-rehearsed actors? This is an important question as there is reason to believe these supposed healings are, more often than not, deceptions played out on ignorant people. However, the Bible proclaims that God does supernaturally heal and we read of Jesus healing all manner of sickness and infirmities. Were these real, or was Jesus the first to exploit gullible people seeking relief from desperate physical circumstances? I’ll answer these questions on this Tomorrow’s World program.

Iran in Prophecy
On February 28, 2026, the United States and Israel launched military strikes against Iran. Over 100 aircraft dropped bombs on strategic targets, and more than 850 Tomahawk missiles were launched from US Navy destroyers and submarines. Over forty top Iranian military commanders were killed in the opening attack, along with supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran’s response was immediate. Hundreds of missiles and thousands of drones were launched at targets throughout the region. The Strait of Hormuz was effectively closed, causing a shipping bottleneck that sent shockwaves in oil prices around the world. What’s behind the current conflict between Iran and the United States? Where does Iran fit in biblical prophecy? And how will it affect you and me? We’ll address these important questions today on Tomorrow’s World.
