Thanks so much for dropping by to give the podcast a listen. In trying to notice what I noticed made me feel happy or grateful, and then remembering those things, and then recording them, I am trying to remain true to a promise I made myself to do those three things once a week. I remember when I made that promise. What ever happened to the part of you that noticed every changing wind? I made that promise to myself when I finally heard that line from Jason Isbell. This week’s offering:

1. Special sauce – A pizza from a vending machine? Sure, I’ll give it a try once.

2. Youngsters – Some notes from an evening at the Winspear.

3. Percussion – A trip to Southtown Automotive took me back to the northeast end.

As always, the original music in the podcast is from Edmonton composer and pianist Brendan McGrath. The end bells are courtesy of Edmonton metal artist and humanitarian, Slavo Cech.

Go, Oilers. I see the Skip The Dishes logo on the ice and remember fondly the Oilers playoff run in 2006 and how much fun it was to watch the games and talk about the games with the late Skip Kerr. The hockey itself is for the players.
