Seven days into Sleep Hygiene and spoiler alert it is not going well. We dive into this episode frustrated and honestly — more tired than ever. Enter: Dr. Kristine Wilckens, a professor in the Sleep and Chronobiology Center in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on how sleep structure can be altered to enhance cognitive function (woah). Mary and Mallika share their sleep habits in the hopes that Dr. Wilckens’ research and insight scares them into good habits. Listen in and find out if we took the doctor’s orders or if we’re doomed to be sleep deprived and ultimately suffer premature deaths. It’s a fun one, we promise!
