We need more of Dr. Ed
This is a great podcast that needs to be heard amongst the younger generations. Dr. Ed does a fantastic job breaking down biblical truth.

A prime podcast for engaging the mind in thinking theologically and critically about culture, history, and the Christian faith.

I have yet to find anything else quite like this podcast. The UU has helped stoke the fire that I thought was long gone. The approach is clearly much different than that of a sermon, but I walk away from each episode wanting to know more of Gods truth.

Thought provoking indeed
The UU helps me think critically about my worldview and biblical values as I incorporate in my every day life.

Great work and consistent content
Just came back after a year or so of not keeping up, jumped in at episode 247 and it was great to hear your opening commentary and prayer, as well as the allegory you used with family. God bless you Ed.

I mean this in a good way…
… as I listen to each podcast, I feel as if a boil is being lanced. Yes! Dr. Ed R aka The UU is a Thinking Christian who is boldly saying what hopefully more and more thinking Christians will also be at least thinking— if not yet boldly saying— about, you know… “it.” Most of us who have been thinking this way about “it” for awhile have had to keep those thoughts bottled up inside. What a relief to be able to say, “Amen.” The just-right level of humor is an additional balm. I love that I’m left with something other than an elevated level of impotent rage when I listen. The UU’s series on Suffering, for example, is reminding me to put “it” into perspective — as well as providing insights into suffering and a Christian response to it that I’ve never thought through before.

Thank you
I have know Ed Rybarczyk for a long time, long before he was the Uncensored/Unprofessor, in fact I had no idea that he that he was Theologian or even went to college. I’ve known him for over twenty years, not necessarily as close personal pals or confidants, but definitely as friends. He was the little league coach of my sons baseball team, we played softball together, went to the same church etc. I really had no idea that he was this brilliant. I personally am a college drop out, but I’ve never allowed that to prevent myself from studying and studying what I feel is important. I became a Born Again Christian at the age of 15 I’m 59 now and in between that time I have been developing a Biblical World View not always realizing it but by my late twenties and early thirties I was putting together a an impressive library of history, biblical history and commentary and theological studies. Since Bush 43 due to his struggles I started getting into the study of Socialism, Communism, Progressivism, classical and modern Liberalism, etc. Since the Obama era, I began my study into Marxism for obvious reasons. Between that and studying the Bible I have been honing my discernment skills and strengthening and shaping my Biblical Worldview. I say all this because you Ed/the Uncensored/UnProfessor have been extremely instrumental of late in putting all these things together and strengthening perspectives. In this time, I’ve become so angry with my fellow Christians brothers and sisters who have fallen pry to the false narratives of this new age, this new version of Christianity, this Wokeness. I’ve gone from despair, to anger, to out and out rage for the Pergamums, the Thyatrias, the Sardis and the Laodicea’s of this age, not realizing or actually being in denial that I had become Ephesus. That I had lost my first Love. Ed your podcasts having been inspiring, engaging, encouraging and extremely insightful. I had no idea that you were also a fan of Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Shelby Steel and Victor Davis Hanson. I’m delighted to know that in my library are some of the same theological books in particular Donald G. Bloesch which of late I’ve really been getting into. I feel confirmed in you that I’m on the right track of “thinking.” As I continue to pray for your ministry to expand in knowledge, wisdom and influence, I also ask that you keep me in prayer that as I continue to not only learn “Grace” and “Truth” but to also apply them both in own life and for others I so strongly disagree with. I really, really want to get back to my “First Love.” Sorry for the length of this, but I really wanted you to know how you are truly appreciated and revered. Thank you!

A must listen for any believer or skeptic
I had the privilege of taking two classes with Ed during my time at Vanguard University. Listening to these podcasts is just like being in class with him again! His wit, intellect, knowledge of biblical concepts, and church history is unmatched. Any believer would find his musings incredibly intellectually stimulating, and any skeptic would find his perspectives refreshing and intellectually honest. Do yourself a favor and take a listen!

Great for thinkers and doers.
I appreciate the call to “turn my brain on” and think deeper on issues of faith and life. Just the right amount of humor to make me laugh, and a solid challenge to love Jesus more. This is a great podcast!

he makes some of the grossest swallowing and mouth noises throughout his talks and it’s so distracting. the content is pretty good, but it’s overshadowed by the gross noises he makes...

Funny, thought-provoking and engaging podcast!
Dr. Edmund Rybarczyk's podcast is an incredibly helpful tool for anyone sifting through their own theological beliefs. He is both poignant and witty as he surveys a wide scope of theological themes and invites the listener to personally engage with the material. His genuine desire to help those navigating their way through Christianity is very obvious and very much appreciated. Dr. Rybarczyk is also hilarious, so there's that.

Challenging and insightful!
Listening to this podcast challenges me to consider points of view not expressed many churches today. Ed does an excellent job of holding his listener accountable to think through questions and concerns that are faced in our postmodern society.
