A large misconception in today's society is that we as individuals do not have the power to make a difference in the world. We are surrounded by so many complex and connected issues like the climate crisis, racism, the COVID-19 pandemic, gender inequality, the list is endless. This podcast is here to tell you that you can make a difference and that no feat of activism is too small.
This show will interview local activists to gain a better understanding of their journey to activism, some of the work they do, and how their work addresses larger issues like climate change and it's intersectionality with race, class, and gender. I hope to provide tangible strategies and resources to start you on your journey towards making the world a better place, one small activist at a time.
So welcome to...the beginning! This intro will give a brief background about myself and my vision for this podcast.
