Keerat Dhami is a climate activist from the Peel Region of Ontario. She serves as a member on the Peel Community Climate Council and is also a team lead with Youth Challenge International. In May 2020 she began her own Peel Climate Cafe, a safe space to connect and discuss the lived experience of climate change.
In this episode, Keerat gives insight into her own journey to activism, barriers she's faced, and current projects she is woking on. She emphasizes the importance of community organizing and community engagement as a means to address the climate crisis in the Peel Region.&nbsp;
