With therapy, Arc'teryx will get better!
Arc'teryx needs to shorten their intro/outro credits. Yes, we support your sponsors, but nearly a full minute of credits and sponsorship acknowledgement on a three minute podcast? Come on! Remember, we don't have to watch the padding on our downloads anyway, some take some notes from TGR (Teton Gravity Research) podcasts and emulate. That way, we won't be reaching for the mouse when the content is through. Sorry I had to give you the bad news first, but at least I'm straightforward. I think we can still work this out, as you've been good to me so far and I believe, in the future, you'll seek help and get better. Won't you? :)

Pump It Up
This is a great series and I can only hope that Fitz and Brian continue to collaborate. So good to see real people who are pushing the edge that aren't the ones that we see all the time in the mags and pusing their sponsors. The video footage is great and the storyline is fantastic. Keep it coming boys!!!

Good but . . .
First let me say that I really like the concept of the show and that the visuals are very aesthetic, regrettably the story telling is not as strong. I get it that most of the viewers are probably watching for the action footage, but really, there is very little drama in the series including the action footage. Also, there is almost no character development; the characters don't get to tell the most important aspects of their own stories, and we don't see these moments on screen, instead we get way too much information in narrated voice over. This keeps us from really understanding things from the character's perspectives and from getting into their emotional worlds. Also, while the visuals are very pretty the camera work does not reveal anything about these people or how they do what they do. This is particularly true of the climbing footage which gives the viewer no insights into how she moves, or how she thinks when climbing. The filmmakers need to increase their dedication to character and story, and to give us images that are not just pretty but provide insights, then this series would be something special.

Rat race
You guys remind me why I'm not in the rat race chasing the almighty dollar. Instead I'm chasing powder turns and new adventures. Thanks for keeping me in touch.

Dirtbag Diaries plus more!!!
I've followed the Dirtbag Diaries for the past couple of years and one thing I've always wanted to see from them was video. Thanks to the folks from New Belgium Brewery and Arc'Teryx I know have it. The video on here is great but even more important and interesting are the stories from these athletes. These are real folks, down to earth people. Their stories are inspiring and the scenery is awesome. You don't have to be an adventure sport lover or outdoorsman to find yourself anticipating the next episode. I know I am always ready for the next episode!! Good job Fitz!

Won't play on I-Touch
I have a 3rd gen, 64 gig I-Touch that this series will not play on. Why is The Season the only video incompatible with I-Touch? Annoying, please fix. This the only reason it gets 1 star.

It Ain't No Dirtbag Diary...
It worked for the "Twilight Zone", but this is the wrong context for a story without a conclusion of some sort... Maybe I'm missing something here, but the vignettes are singularly unsatisfying.

Is not compatible with all iPods
For some reason, The Season is the only podcast/application/video that does not sync onto my iPod. I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch, and whenever I try to upload the episodes, iTunes prompts me with "thse videos cannot be played on this iPod." I'm not sure what's going on, but it would be really nice if this show were compatible with all iPods.

Great filmmaking
If you're tired of the same-looking guys doing the same tricks off the same cliffs, jumps, etc. this is what you're looking for. Not only are the stories compelling, but the film making is beautiful. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

This looks like another great contribution from the maker of the Dirtbag Diaries.

Stories of Our Time
Fitz Cahall does a wonderful job telling the stories of the individual. With the Dirtbag Diaries, being one of the greatest Podcast around, The Season is bound to be great. The trailer screams amazing and the series won't disappoint.

Can't wait.
I eagerly await this new podcast from Fitz Cahall. The Dirtbag Diaries is such a great show, I'm sure The Season is as good or better.

Can't wait
This is one of the most anticipated media productions in the outdoor industry to come across my radar in many years. I have been a fan of both the Dirtbag Diaries and Reel Water Production's work and they continue to bring great stories to listeners through new and inventive ways that keep up with technology and new media streams. I can't wait for the Season to get underway!

Can't wait
Fitz you've done it again! It is great to have multi-media that celebrates all aspects of the outdoor lifestyle. Whether you are an aspiring pro-athlete, a wide-eyed newbee, a seasoned veteran, or an office professional stuck at his desk yerning for the mountains, all can relate to the material because its about people. The Dirtbag Diaries have been brought along so many roadtrips and nights sleeping in the truck. Can't wait to see the Seasons! Thanks for all your hard work.

Quality Stories
In an age when the fine art of storytelling is lost, The Season and it's sister show, The Dirtbag Diaries, provide just that. The stories transport me to high alpine passes and distant rivers in a way that no other media can. Fitz Cahall is a wondrous story teller. There are 3 things ALWAYS on my iPod. U2's album Joshua Tree, and these two podcasts.

Fitz is an amazing story teller. The Dirtbag Diaries have always struck a cord with me. Inspiring, touching stories about real folks. The Season looks to be more of the same, I can't wait to watch.

Stories
I am a story junkie and Fitz Cahall seems to know just the kind of stories to tell to inspire us all to push harder, look deeper into our souls about our additictions to adrenaline and our passion for all things outside!! Yet another reason to support his creative mind and ideas!!!

Absoluetely great stories!

Documentary storytelling
Fitz Cahall is an excellent storyteller who not only paints vivid scenes of extreme sporting adventures, but also delves into the various emotional and mental layers that these activites entail. In The Season this storytelling skill is taken one step farther: to the screen. This seems like it has been a huge project for him and if it's even half as good as the Dirtbag Diaries it will be a huge success. Thanks, Fitz!!

Inspirational TV
Fitz Cahall could get a sedentary, lazy, couch-loving potato like me to go out and climb a rock, kayak a river, or climb a mountain. Any project he's involved with is the gold standard. Thank you for supporting "The Season."

CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!
If "The Season" is half as good as the Dirtbag Diaries it will be incredible. Fitz and his guest dirtbaggers do an outstanding job of brining you stories from the great outdoors that are so vivid and detailed that you can almost imagine yourself right there in the mix. And now he's going to put this to film, I can't wait!!! It will surely be incredible. Oh and don't forget about the great tunes, he continues to open my ears to new music that you just don't hear in the southeast.

Everything Fitz Cahall Does Is Incredible
Real, incredible, inspiring stories, with terrific music. This is the next best thing to getting out there and having these adventures yourself.

Fantastic Series
This is a lifestyle. The Season is a well-made series made by folks who understand this lifestyle and what drives it. Others have tried to do this from the outside in and can be spotted a mile away, but The Season will keep even the gnarliest trailrats glued to their monitors.

Amazing Show
This show, although in its infancy, has the makings of one of the most interesting and insightful shows to come to the internet. I am truely intrigued to see where Fitz Cahall takes his viewers. Part Reality TV, part documentary, throw in some bomber moutain biking and some wicked kayaking and you have a deal. The depth of the characters, the attention to detail, and the over cinematic effect of the show are outstanding.

Can't go wrong here
As a longtime fan of the DBD's, I was somewhat excited about the new project from Fitz and Becca. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the preview they leaked. UNBELIEVABLE! I will be subscribing to The Season and, I assume, anxiously awaiting every new episode just as much as I do new episodes of the Diaries! Keep it up Cahalls!

Beautiful places and great stories
This is a great way to tell a story as you follow the adventurers in HD over gorgeous locations. Good inspiration to get outside and play!

This is AWESOME and it will only get awesomer!!!!
Fitz has been putting out the very best in audio podcasts. The sound quality, the editing, the artistic vision and the incredibly inspiring stories just keep getting better. And now there's a video to go with it!!! Yeah, so far it's just a trailor...but this is IMAX or National Geographic quality work. I can't wait to see the whole thing! Keep up the amazing work Fitz! You rock!

Five stars from a girl who doesn't own a TV
Based on the preview alone, I'd say this show is going to be a huge hit among us people who play outside. Fascinating people living adventurous lives, with the storytelling (and, story-shaping) skill of Dirtbag Diaries' Fitz Cahall... in video? I'm in. I don't own a television, but I'll be watching every episode of the Season.

Not your tired old podcast
The Dirtbag Diaries podcast (Fitz's other project) is a wonderfully fresh take on the pursuit of happiness in all things outside. It's the people and their stories, not the epic powder pics or scary rock walls that bring alive Fitz Cahall's creations. I cannot wait for The Season to begin.

The Season rocks
Producing the best outdoors-related podcast wasn't enough apparently. Now he's got a video series to boot. I recommend this to any serious outdoor athletes or those who admire what it takes to succeed at difficult sports like rock climbing and kayaking. Great show.

Outstanding tales of adventure
Fitz has a magical way of bringing outdoor adventure tales to the masses. The Dirtbag Diaries is a favorite and I'm sure the Season will be epic! Keep it coming Fitz!

Good Stuff
Awesome camera work catches you right off the bat. The Dirtbag passion Fitz's narration brings draws you into the scenes and the hope of your own ideas. The soundtrack makes you want to lean forward into the spray of water and you almost feel the chalk dust coming out of the bag...the only limits are that which you impose on yourself. Great work.

Solid
Built on the reputation of the DB Diaries, The Season promises vibrant, truthful storytelling as well as excellent imagery. I'm jazzed for this series to commence and continue.
