In Part 2 of the four-part Spring/Summer 2021 series, Rachel and Nicole speak with two alumni. The first is Desiree Ventura, a college writing instructor and Chamorro activist indigenous to Guam, who gained some vital insight into her relationship with colonization while living stateside for the first time in order to attend the RWS Master’s program. The second is Dr. Garrett Stack, a former journalist from the midwest who maintained being a full professor at Ferris State University in Michigan (where he teaches a wide variety of writing styles) while also raising newborn twins!
