In this four-part second installment of The Rhetorical Situation, join graduate students Rachel Michelle Fernandes and Nicole Golden as they speak with faculty, alumni, staff, and fellow students of the Rhetoric and Writing Studies Department about their experiences making it through this harrowing past academic year. 

In part 1, the ladies speak to the RWS department's newest Assistant Professor, Dustin Edwards. Dr. Edwards discusses his research trajectory, which includes a book project called Digital Damage and Rhetorical Invention at the End of Worlds about the real world consequences of "big data." He also talks about what he's most looking forward to about joining RWS and the SDSU community.
