Kim and I have known each other since we were babies. We met in Canada, and her family moved to California when she was 7 years old. For awhile, we were actual penpals and we rekindled our connection as adults. I was amazed to discover in this conversation that Kim is teaching in ways similar to how I coach my clients. Tune in to this inspiring episode to hear about how she empowers children and honours them as whole humans, even during one of the most difficult years of her career. Kim is an educator, living and working in Northern California with her husband, two kids, giant puppy, and very patient cat. She teaches 2nd and 3rd graders in a public school and has a passion for creating classrooms that honor each child’s unique self while also teaching them how to live and learn in community. She is a life-long learner herself who finds joy, solace, and lessons in humility in her daily yoga practice and new love of watercolor painting. Her fellow teachers are her greatest inspiration.Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kimribeiro/--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/podgecast/message
