Refreshing view for men’s mental health
I met Dr. Matt Brown about 10 years ago in League city Texas. From the get-go I liked him as a person and his conversations were insightful and interesting. When I learned of this podcast, I started listening and really appreciated the insights shared (from all three hosts) and their views on things. It really got me thinking about things I can improve or things that I’ve struggled with in my relationships.I’ve recommended that many people over the years. I’m not sure if anyone’s actually listens, but I still continue to follow.

This podcast is a gift
This podcast has your new best friends. It’s a gift to have these guys discuss topics they have deep expertise in but in such a relatable way.

Love it!
I seldom listen to every episode of any podcast but have listened to all of these. I love the light, funny banter between the hosts that kind of loosens up the listener while working in some really important and helpful advice. I find it engaging, entertaining and instructive.

Spot On
As a woman I came into this podcast hesitantly, almost like I was crashing a party. The first episode I listened to, “Why Do Women…,” I felt absolutely seen, understood, and validated. Thank you Matt, Rob, & Mike for creating a safe space for me & women alike to listen, learn, & laugh!

Amaze-balls!!!
So full disclosure- I was in Rob’s band(drummer) - and he is just as hilarious as he was in college. Even so- This podcast was a breath of fresh air for me. I had an 8 year span if un/underemployment and went through a lot of very dark times. This has helped me look back on all that and make sense of a lot of it and also how it’s shaped my behavior/thinking now. There have been a few kinda life-changing episodes for me. Definitely helped me to look at myself and evaluate honestly. They bounce around a lot but I love it. It keeps things light while addressing sometimes serious stuff. I’m a former lawyer who owns a restaurant now so sometimes I just love hearing analytical debate (don’t get that when you work with a bunch of teenagers - pretty sure my IQ has suffered some irreparable harm). Love this podcast! Keep ‘em comin!!

Very helpful podcast
At the moment, this is my favorite podcast. I think it’s great how they keep things pretty light most of the time but dive into some really good, deep topics. I think sometimes there’s a stigma around mental health for men and I think this podcast serves a great need. Keep up the great work guys!

So helpful!
I love listening to these three therapists sit and talk about real life! This podcast has really helped me not only look at the men in my life and understand them more, but look at myself as a woman and understand ME more. Since men and women interact daily it is so helpful to understand more of what is happening in those interactions! Thanks guys!!

Guys are finally starting to make sense
I love this podcast for 2 reasons: the hosts make me laugh, especially when they get into their random banter; but I love that they are actual therapists working in the field, and dudes themselves—so I can trust the source. The second reason I love it is because every week I learn something more about the way men think and why they do the things they do sometimes. It’s helped me understand a ton about the way my ex reacted to things, and has helped me understand how to communicate better w the men in my life. This one’s a total game changer. Fun and engaging, but also lots of a-ha moments.

Great Podcast!
I’ve been loving this podcast a lot! The hosts are very relatable and funny guys who talk about things that I hadn’t always thought about. I’ve been married for 17 years and I’m learning a lot of things about myself and about my relationship. Look forward to it every week and again it’s just been good to listen to this podcast because it then gives me things to ponder about and how I personally can improve and live a happier life. It’s been good to dedicate time to this podcast. Love it!

Mind Readers, Hilarious
Listen I’m a dude. And as a dude I’ve bottled a lot of stuff up. When I was feeling really down about something going on in my marriage I listened to this podcast randomly. It was seriously like they were reading my mind. Everything I they said in the intro episode I was like “yep, I do that for sure”. Since starting the podcast I’m not miraculously a perfect guy but I’ve had conversations that needed to happen that I worried never would. As a cherry on top they’re hilarious with their slightly outdated pop culture references and perfectly cringe worthy dad jokes.

Not just for men (sort of)
I love this podcast! Don’t let the name fool you, it’s not just for men. Although that obviously is the target audience. However as a wife I feel like I have learned so much about what is going on inside my husband head and even my sons. As the only female in my little family that insight has been invaluable. I’ve also been surprised how often I’ve identified with some of the thinking patterns for myself. Perhaps I’ve been outnumbered too long and now think more like a man. Or maybe it’s how I’ve alway been. Either way I’ve gain a lot of insight and personal growth by listening to this podcast. Two thumbs way up!
