On the anointed 4/4 episode, your favorite duo links up with Brooklyn artist Kelan, A.K.A Afro Thee Artisan.

We start with Kelan not only taking us through the process of him becoming an artist (poet, illustrator and so much more), but he also takes us through the realness of college and dropping out because of how it drained him of his life and passion.

We then go into heavy details of his illustrations and/or digital designs and his renowned “Sinners” series, highlighting his version and interpretation of the Seven Deadly Sins. We also deep dive into art in general and the paths Kelan plans on taking.

O and Kelan have a nice bonding moment over anime and we go into a nice tattoo conversation, since they both want anime themed tattoos, about a tattoo gone wrong on Kelan’s leg; yet it still remains one of his favorites.

We wrap up with some gems on art and building a story through art and words and of course a Lingo Talk with The Lingo and surprisingly, get some old lingo in the mix.
