Episode 120 - From Community to Heritage
New week, new Kulcha! This episode was recorded on the 18th of September, which is a big day for South African cannabis culture as it was 3 years ago on that day that led the motion rolling on decriminalizing cannabis for private use.  Uno, Stan and Cath celebrated the day with Nosi and Bangani (East Lynne Pizza Grille), the Zol Master (Ntsu Organic) as well as non-stoners, Baksteezy and Zizipho. The conversation was robust and engaging with plenty of laughs as we went from discussing what defines a community to taking a crack at our own cultures in the name of Heritage Month to Crying Spaces on Twitter to some tips on how to deal with law enforcement with regards to your personal possession of cannabis. We had fun recording this and hope you will enjoy listening to this one with a jay in hand.

Episode 115 - The Coldest Winter Ever
NEW WEEK, NEW KUCLHA!Welcome back to another fun and allegation filled instalment of The Kulcha. This week we ask "is NASA Hollywood?" as the boys link up virtually with one topic on all of our minds - THE COLD! Apparently, this past week has been South Africa's Coldest week in recent years, probably due to climate change/global warming?Still with our lab coats on, we discuss the pros and cons of "making it rain" (literally...not like Lil Wayne) as we learn about climate control in Dubai, Jeff Bezos and the prospect of living in space. Uno comes to Kanye's rescue as Stan launches a scathing attack on Mr West and his "failed" listening party this past week. Also, do we really really need  Watch The Throne 2?As the episode comes to an end with no conclusion, The President points out a little bit of humour in the insurrection that took place a few weeks ago. (Lol...read that again)Sit back, relax and chill with your homies at The Kulcha

Episode 114 - Self-Preservation
NEW WEEK, NEW KULCHAThis week on The Kulcha, we are joined by South African underground hip hop duo - Born Fire Rebelz, comprising of members AV The Guy and Malcolm The Psychedelic. It was somewhat awkward to be gathered around as men with no alcohol in sight...in fact, we were drinking tea! Imagine - 4 grown ass men, gathered around talking (not gossiping) while drinking tea. The reality was so astonishing that it made us realize how much exactly the government has they’re feet on our necks. The circulating blunt smoke and mention of government immediately sparked a conversation about the riots, looting and killings of last week. The question of the day was: how much of it are you prepared to understand? The conversation ended inconclusively with the concept/idea of self-preservation hanging in the air. You’re definitely gonna need to get some dank for this chat

Episode 113 - Radical Kulcha
New week, new KulchaIt's a 2 man cut as Uno and Stan get to chop it up.Radical seems to be the theme of the past few weeks as the smell of anarchy has been floating over eSwatini and South Africa. We found out that Jacob Zuma is not the only former president to be sentenced to jail this year. There was also an idea on the best reason to start a hunger strike. A theory of an "Nguni Winter" a la Arab Spring shows itself. Presidential assassinations have made a comeback in a country that can't catch a break.  From there, we speak on under recognized red flags as well as the concept of blackmailing for money. We hope you all stay safe and light one up, for the Kulcha.

Episode 112 - Pizza Cops
NEW WEEK, NEW KULCHA!!!This week, the gang comes armed and fully charged with opinions on some of the most controversial matters of the week, as per usual! Chief of which is: the discussion around athlete Sha’Carri Richardson’s  month ban for testing positive for THC a few months before The Olympics. What was she thinking? We sit down to unpack the facts. In the same vein of responsible use of cannabis, we took a bit of time out to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of the murder of South African cannabis icon - Jules Stobbs.Does Cyril suffer from dementia? Is his job getting to him? How on earth did he lose his iPad on national TV?At the peak of this fully charged episode, we debunk part of the Zuma fiasco and attempt to explain why he is found in contempt of court. In perhaps what is the most startling pieces of international news over the past week, we compare the release of Bill Cosby to the denied removal of conservatorship on Britney Spears (#FreeBritney) as well as shed a little light on the unrest unravelling eSwatini.Would you trust a detective dressed as a pizza delivery man? You’re gonna need to roll up for this one!
