Romans 8: 15-17 

15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children.[h] Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”[i] 16 For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. 17 And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

In a good father son relationship, the son looks to the father for guidance, and then their goals can be aligned. The same is true with God. When we yield our decisions to God, our goals align.

We get to share in God's glory!

We also get to share in Christ's suffering.

Is someone who is perfect, perfect in any way, including basketball, or just in areas of morals.

Someone who is living for the glory of God is going to be able to do things that is only unique to you.
