First of all, I agree that the intro song doesn’t fit at all. The host has a very calm voice but the intro is like bad techno. The host gives lots of good advice and it is all practical. A lot of it reminds me of blogs from the 2010 area. It’s also a quick listen!!

I have been following Shellie’s blog for a while. I enjoy listening to her Podcast too. Great information and ideas. I highly recommend her Podcast.

I enjoy the slightly “old fashioned” stay at home mom bend that I personally pick up on. That’s my vibe, but it’s certainly not in your face that would put off a more modern woman. I like to listen to longer podcasts at certain times, but I also subscribe to several shorter podcasts like this that I can finish while folding laundry or other similar task. Host speaks clearly and no annoying “umms” etc. This may sound petty & I hope not to hurt the host’s feelings, but I took a star off because the intro music is INCREDIBLY annoying with a techno vibe to it and totally does NOT fit the theme of the podcast well at all.

Simple tips to improve life keep it simple and happy. Saving on resources is superb not doubt! Thank you so much Shelly.

I love Shelly’s succinct style of presenting these concepts that are not just about frugality but about being intentional and organized as well. I’ve been tearing through these little gems as I clean my kitchen and tackle the laundry pile. She gets to the meat of each subject without any of the extra fluff that’s often in blogs and podcasts, and makes daunting tasks seem easier to tackle with her straightforward advice.

She makes her podcast feel as if you are visiting with her over a cup of coffee, chatting with a friend. What I like most about these podcasts, is how encouraging Shelly is. She lays out her tips and advice in a very easy to follow way. At the end of each podcast she does a quick review of tips and hints. Shelly has a beautiful way of elevating home keeping to a level beyond what the world would have us believe it to be. Thank you Shelly! You are a shining example of a Proverbs 31 and Titus 2 women.
