During this meditation you are invited to practice mindfully inquiring into where you feel the breathe in the body and tune into sensations in the body. "Finding me" Episode 1 - How did I get here?
We all lose touch with ourselves at some point in life - it's normal. Whether you're middle-aged and facing the reality that your kids are leaving for college; or you have young kids and are just realizing  that somewhere in the midst of being a parent, you've lost yourself; or if you're facing the breakup of a marriage; or you're leaving an abusive and oppressive marriage; or maybe you're living the life set out for you by someone else - your parents, perhaps.  Or maybe just because we are living in a weird world at the moment and we cannot see ourselves in this new situation. Whatever the reason, if you've ever looked into a mirror and thought, "Who is this person?" this practice can assist you to answer your query. We will go on a healing journey together.  On this journey, you will get to know a little bit more about who you are, how you see yourself. We will use two main methods to make our way from the beginning to the end of this part of your journey, including: guided imagery meditations, question and answer reflections. Below you will find a journal which you can use to keep notes of your practice. It's important, though, that you answer the questions in written form - that you actually see your thoughts and feelings on paper or a screen. Journal Reflection 1 - What was it like taking your first guided journey in this practice? 2 - When you looked at the current state of your life, how did it make you feel? What did it make you think about yourself? 3 - What has changed between the self you saw in your childhood and the self you are now? 4 - What was your home like when you were a child? How do think that has affected you and brought you to where you are today? 5 - As you moved through the major events in your life, what patterns did you notice?  How do you think these events and your reactions to them helped shape you into the person you are today?

Body Practice Audio: How Mindful Movement can Help to Build Awareness
Audio movement sessions can deepen the sense of how you move. This movement class uses exploratory movement and guided attention to evoke new neuro-muscular patterns, reducing pain and tension and improving your coordination, flexibility, focus and balance. We strive to be stronger and more fit, often without concern for the quality of our movement. Sometimes we even assume we should be in pain. The costs of exercise and even day to day movements without awareness range from simply not enjoying ourselves, to being held short of reaching our full potential, to mild or even serious injury. During this practice your attention will be directed to particular things you feel as you move and this can be the key to positive change  :  your sensations are actually more important for enhancing how you move than the movement themselves.
