Some things that will help us in worship: 1. Worship based on choice not feeling.Habakkuk 3:17-18 - "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior."2. Worship with everything I have.2 Samuel 24:24 - “No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” Mark 12:30 - “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”Transformation:3. Worship expecting God to respond.James 5:8 - "Come close to God and God will come close to you." (NLT)

There are two contrasting responses to hardship in this life event of Paul. We see hard times will come and as a Christian we can have the confidence to face them because Jesus is there and will use it make an impact in others lives. This hope we have as a Christian will carry us through the darkness like the brightness of the sun driving away the night.

Life may try to strike fear in you, but your shepherd is faithful. Situations are not a sign that God is for or against you. His promises need to have final say in your heart. Calm your heart by spending time in His presence. Fight Fear by replying with His promises. And rest in the indisputable fact that God is Faithful… You will reach the other side!

They said what?!?!?!?! Behind your back. Not even to your face. Someone you thought was in your corner. Said something that; to the person or people that heard it was a ding to your character. You start weighing your options.• Post a passive-aggressive post about it• Drive over and throat punch them• Slander them in return to others• Defend yourself and your character• OR THE RIGHT OPTIONI want to submit to you today that there is another way. A way that saves you energy and stress. That surrounds you with peace. And in the end your character will stand, your legacy will impact others, and the reward will be great. LET GOD BE YOUR DEFENDER.

When you are broken hearted the Holy Spirit wants to comfort you. He is there to comfort and teach. He specializes in comforting and helping those in need. He is a master teacher who knows how you learn best. He wants to be invited into your everyday. Because in His presence there is life and peace. We need to start every day with an invitation to the Holy Spirit to help in our daily lives and allow the comforter to lead us into all that God has for us.

Psalm 34:7-11 - "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. 8 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. 9 Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. 10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. 11 Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord."
