Well, over the past few years my childhood friend Mark Swiontek has made that a lifestyle. I sat down fireside with Mark and asked him to take us on a journey.

In 2018, Bret Alexander founded Mesabi Outdoor Adventures as a way to "connect Iron Range Communities by engaging people of all skill levels and abilities in outdoor recreation activities to promote health, education, conservation, personal growth, and fun." Two years later, the group is bigger than ever, getting Iron Rangers outside despite the challenges of COVID19.

Jo Swanson is the Trail Development Director of the Superior Hiking Trail Association. In this episode we talk with Jo about how her love for hiking became her livelihood.
