Whats up guys? Welcome back to another week of SOLO episodes! So glad you are here. This week we are talking all things getting out of a rut!
[
2:00] Step 1: Accept/Acknowledge you are in a rut.
Rut=Routine Unproductive Thinking
Denying it doesn’t help “im just worn out” or “ill feel myself tomorrow” continues the cycle.
Have compassion for yourself, blaming yourself won’t help you feel any better.
[
Use self reflection
Journal about it
Go deeper with yourself.
What makes you happy or stressed
Are you doing things bc you want to or bc you think you should?
Do your relationships provide Meaning and fulfillment?
[
Have the big goals, but have small stepping stones along the way.
We have to stop over striving
Its better to have the big goal, but several small attainable goals along the way.
[
Take it day by day. You don’t have to fix everything all at once. Small steps to big   changes.
[
Relax breaks from difficult projects, time off exercise, sleep, time with loved ones.
Self care is more than just face masks. Its getting enough sleep, eating healthy,         drinking enough water etc.
[
Go doodle. Go for a nature walk.
Go hug a tree.
GIVE YOUR BRAIN A BREAK.
We are all over worked and over stimulated.
[
If you’re in a rut, its going to sound counter intuitive BUT be more impulsive!
Get out of your comfort zone.
Go somewhere new, put yourself in a situation that you never usually would.
[
Surround yourself with people and community.
We are better together and we were not made to live life in isolation.
If you are lonely and needing connection reach out to me and I can get you connected.
