This conversation is one that hits close to home because I’ve lost a parent. I know the struggles. I know the grief. Having Bolaji on this episode was an intentional decision. We’ve both lost parents, but from different sides of the family and at different ages. That allowed us to have a conversation about our grieve, how it shaped us, the aftermath of the loss, and the role our surviving parents played in helping us navigate life afterward.I’m so grateful for this episode, which is why this description can’t do it justice.I just hope someone is able to listen to this and know that they’ve got a community and, of course, as the name implies, a sibling. ❤️

A girl in progress isn’t just about reflection or measuring how far I’ve come. It’s about wanting people to learn - actually, scratch that ,I don’t have anything to teach. It’s simply about hoping people can pick what they can from a clueless girl’s journey. This episode made me realize how far I’ve come and how much I’ve been carried by people along the way. So maybe it’s also about gratitude… and an apology to myself for falling off my deep belief in me.This episode is for me as much as it is for everyone who listens. I just hope I’m able to impact, serve as a lesson, or even a cautionary tale. More than anything, I hope you get something from it.

In this episode, we used the phrase "I feel like" frequently, not because we were uncertain about our points, but because the topics we discussed resonate with so many people. Annie and I wanted our listeners to know that, no matter what challenges you face;whether it's milestones, new beginnings, or feelings like imposter syndrome or birthday blues, you are not alone. There may not be definitive solutions or answers in this episode, but there is a sense of community, encouragement, and camaraderie. We hope that everyone listening can truly connect with what we're saying and feel the support, even amidst our yapping .Hang in there!

Djing and hyping a crowd is all about creativity. It’s the little things—like matching music and crafting beats—that make a difference, along with feeling the crowd's energy to get them excited for what’s next. Unfortunately, this effort often goes unnoticed.
In "Crowd Pleasers," we give you a sneak peek into the creative process of Boston and Felix, sharing their experiences before, during, and after an event. We had a great time recording this episode, and I hope you enjoy listening to it just as much!

Societal expectations aside, ask yourself: what would you be doing? Too often, we suppress our desires until societal norms become our wants. In this episode, I speak with an incredible group of people about the things we would pursue if society weren’t breathing down our necks. We discuss initiating the change we want to see, touch on interstate marriage, and explore many more topics that you'll uncover once you hit the play button.

There’s a very thin line between honestly fighting for something and hiding behind trauma to justify that fight. Often, we blur this line. In every movement, there are fanatics who tend to gain more recognition than those genuinely advocating for the cause. This is particularly true in feminism, where individuals on the verge of misandry can make the fight for equality appear aggressive. In this episode, Aronto and I embark on a roller coaster of emotions, experiences, and stories while recording. We hope to take you along for the ride, so enjoy!
