This conversation is one that hits close to home because I’ve lost a parent. I know the struggles. I know the grief. Having Bolaji on this episode was an intentional decision. We’ve both lost parents, but from different sides of the family and at different ages. That allowed us to have a conversation about our grieve,how it shaped us, the aftermath of the loss, and the role our surviving parents played in helping us navigate life afterward.
