Ep 189 | John 2-4, Come Follow Me 2023 (February 6-12)

– An overview of these chapters.

– Jesus turns water into wine. This miracle is a symbol of what he offers us. The Savior takes something ordinary and turns it into something great.

– Jesus drives out the money changers at the temple in Jerusalem. We can see this as an invitation to cleanse ourselves and to follow the Savior’s teachings.

– Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, comes to speak with Jesus at night. Jesus invites Nicodemus to be born again.

– The gospel of John shows the spiritual progression of Nicodemus.

– John the Baptist testifies of Christ and says, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

– A woman of Samaria meets Jesus at Jacob’s well. She comes to learn that he is the Christ as she speaks with him and he gently leads her to greater understanding.

– We know what we worship and we need to teach these restored truths to others.

– Jesus heals a nobleman’s son. The father sees that his son’s fever broke at the exact time when Jesus said that he would live.
