I love this podcast so much. I download a bunch of podcasts but this is the only one I rush to listen to as soon as I see it! Definitely helps my mood and keeps me smiling!!

I can take or leave SVU, but I sure hope it never ends so this podcast can go on forever! From Gabe talking about Stablers big fat bootie to Tasha warnings I like it, I love it, I want some More Of It!!!!! I'm in Wisco too can we be a throuple of best friends please? 🥹

Episode Mean, Season 5 Episode 17, I believe there was a phrase used that makes me cringe; “white girl victim mode”. I hear phrases and statements akin to this on the show sometimes and I wonder why can’t the race/color of someone be left out, unless it’s germane? Other than that I like this podcast better than another SVU themed podcast I’ve listened to. I like the friendship and banter between Gabe and Tasha. I still have to listen to see if I missed the origin of “Toyota”, but I have a backlog of episodes because I’ve only known about this podcast for about a year. Today’s episode “Hooked” was very difficult to listen to Tasha go on and on about brassy hair (who cares?) and sound so incredibly judgy while commenting how judgy the shows characters are.

This is my favorite podcast. I love the genre and I like loads of podcasts. But, THIS podcast is so genuine, so whacky and downright hilarious. I appreciate that Gabe and Tasha have been friends for a long time and I feel like their letting me in on that friendship. The hosts talk about everyday stuff like their regular lives, as if I’m familiar with John, or Darla. And, the tattoo shop Gabe works at, in fact if the Tattoo shop would sponsor this podcast - I’d go…just to meet Gabe. Also, Tasha has an amazing voice, I love it when she sings. For some reason this podcast just brings out the ‘theater kid/nerd’ I was from high school and university. Gabe and Tasha are keen to make sure that the stories are told with sensitivity and kindness. Which I appreciate. But, I wish everyone would just relax in that aspect just a bit. Overall I’m so sad when the podcast is over for the week, or when they take a break. I feel like I’ve got to say goodbye to my new friends…u til the next episode. I’m then in the mode of checking and rechecking to see if another episode has dropped. I wish them wild success, I just truly hope if they find the success they so richly deserve, that they don’t change. That some company doesn’t try to change what they do because what they do, well it’s marvelous.

Have I ever seen an episode of SVU? Not until I started listening to this podcast. This show is amazing!

This is my favorite podcast. Hands down. Gabe and Tasha are so naturally hilarious and charismatic. The recap is always so funny and detailed. The true crime chasers are thoughtful and well researched. They are currently on a break at the moment and I have already relistened to all the back catalog because I miss T&G like they are my real life human friends. This is the superior SVU podcast, IMO!

SVU has been my source of comfort reruns for as long as I can remember and unless there’s a competition where I need to identify the episode plot during the scene before the credits to win, I thought my obsession had reached an especially heinous dead end. Y’all had me at Toots, made me fall in love with donkey butt and coffee cups, and got me to join your cult (there’s going to be a cult, right?) with the random musical numbers. Thank you for doing the Lord’s work. I look forward to full Munch appreciation because it will happen.

I’ll still give it 5 stars. I found this podcast when I heard promos for the “other” podcast before it came out, so say what you will about it, but it’s how I found my favorite podcast (this one, if that wasn’t clear).

Love the good mix. Not too much detail, not too much banter, not too much other stuff. Perfect blend. Super entertaining. This podcast was a gift when I had a grindy clerical job. Thank you! Keep it up!

Tasha and Gabe have a delightful dynamic, their best friend/cool aunt energy is contagious but they also treat the heavy stuff respectfully. I was introduced to SVU through that other SVU podcast, wanted some more episode commentary and found this one - so so much better all around, seriously my one of my favorites to go back and binge the back catalogue over and over. Even on the third+ listen it’s so hilarious (I’ve had to pause and switch to music at the gym from laughing too much - horny robot voice is too dangerous for heavy lifts 😂😂).

I am a diehard SVU fan and I love listening to this recap pod. Y’all are hilarious! I love the tangents, jokes and wit. Thanks ladies!

I found this podcast after becoming increasingly disappointed with another SVU podcast. I can honestly say, Tasha and Gabe are 1000% more enjoyable to listen to. It is like having a conversation about my favorite show with my best friends. I have binged listened and developed a Midwest accent, and now refer to Detective Tutuola as “toots.”

I’ve been listening to this pod for awhile and Tasha and Gabe are amazing. They are so funny, talented and do an entertaining recap of SVU episodes (with amazing commentary). Seriously the best SVU podcast out there. Keep up the great work ladies! You have me crying/ laughing out loud each episode. Freaking brilliant!

I seriously LOVE THIS PODCAST so much. I’m a die hard svu fan and love hearing their takes on the episodes. The chasers are well researched and Tasha and Gabe are so funny. Cannot think of a single thing I don’t love about this podcast. Update: removing one star because they don’t like cats. Still love them 😂

I discovered Especially Heinous in the reviews of another SVU podcast (that I was feeling increasingly “meh” about) and was immediately hooked. Tasha and Gabe have such great friend chemistry, wonderful podcasting voices and make me laugh out loud at least once an episode. I love that they go in chronological episode order, following along with character development and keep track of little callbacks. This is a clever, fun, thoughtful show and I’ve had a great time bingeing it from the start!

I love this podcast so much, I’m so happy to have found it. Listening to their commentary on the episodes and true crime chasers makes my boring job so much more enjoyable. I discovered it through the comments on another podcast that essentially stole Tasha and Gabe’s format - so glad I did!

I listen to a lot of podcasts. I don’t like to be alone with my thoughts: anxiety/depression. I’m so glad I discovered this podcast, I’ve been able to just put it on and listen to it nonstop and it’s like I’m hanging out with my two hilarious friends. I’ll be sad when I reach the end (beginning, since I’m going backwards) and have to wait for a new one each week.

You can tell that they put a lot of work into the show, but their quick, hilarious banter is the best part. Just two best friends doing best friend stuff.

You won’t regret it. It’s the best thing to ever exist.

Updated review: Ok. I found one complaint about this podcast. I want them to have more of a conversation before jumping into the episode. I know some people don’t like that, but honestly, they’re hilarious. They sound like me and my friends talking to each other. Honestly, I found this podcast when reading the reviews of the podcast that copied this show’s format. After giving both of them a listen, I have to say I unfollowed the other one. I love that they go in chronological order, and the intermishes are great too!!These ladies are hilarious, and I’m obsessed with the Midwest accents!! (Born and raised Californian over here.) This is the podcast for SVU super fans. Tasha and Gabe are a riot without cheap jabs. Their respect for the subject matter as well as their openness with all things life creates a listening adventure that feels like it’s 3 bffs weaving a yarn. I look forward Tuesday and have definitely binged the whole catalogue…twice!

I used to listen to a few SVU podcasts, but since starting this podcast from the beginning, I have not been listening to anything else!! The hosts being best friends honestly is the best part, they are effortlessly funny and make me feel like I’m just talking with my closest group of friends! Highly recommend!

I love how Tasha and Gabe interact with one another and make fun of the SVU characters that we all love. They don’t fear pointing out the flaws in our beloved characters and it makes the show a lot of fun. The format is great, so much so that I think it’s been copied by another pod. 🤔They recap the show and then tell the true story that it was based on. Keep up the good work! ❤️
