रुकुम सदरमुकाम खलङ्गा छेवैको दलित बस्तिका पुरुषहरुले बाउ बाजेको पालादेखि पन्चे बाजा बजाउने काम गर्दै आएका थिए । जन्तीदेखि मलामीसम्म पन्चे बाजा नभई हुँदैन थियो । बिस्तारै समय फेरियो । पन्चे बाजाको ठाउँमा आधुनिक ब्यान्ड बाजा र लाउड स्पीकर घन्किन थाले। बाउ बाजेको बिँडो थाम्दै आएका नयाँ पुस्ता पनि कतार मलेसिया कै कमाईमा रमाउन थाले । हुँदा हुँदा यो गाउँमा पन्चे बाजा नै बज्न छाड्यो ।
