Whilst I struggle to access the material I need in order research my historical stories I have found &nbsp;some interesting texts that give us a small insight in to life in the Medieval times. This episode all centers around the Byzantine city of Constantinople and contains a siege, a sacking and another sack....of sorts.&nbsp;

Loidis - Before The Last Kingdom

Join me for historical tales from the iron age through to the emergence of gunpowder (I lose interest then). 

I research my stories based around a peculiar event or a character that amuses me. What develops from there can often lead to some surprising tales and some interesting perspectives to well known events. 

I have plenty of projects half written, jotted down on the back of a beer mat or stored in the depths of my memory somewhere so keep checking back for more content.
