Episode 8 is all about South Africa. While wine has been produced in this beautiful country since the 1600’s, apartheid response boycotting resulted in an industry decline. Thanks in no small part to some of the hosts’ personal heroes, today we are able to explore, enjoy, and share some unique wines from a fascinating part of the world.

The sort-of-somms return stateside in Episode 7 to discover the beauties of Oregon and its wine. Known for many remarkable must-sees like the deepest lake, the biggest mushroom, the tallest barber pole, the most breweries and the only double-sided state flag, Oregon promises to impress. And with over 700 wineries there’s sure to be a bottle for everybody to enjoy.

In Episode 6, the crew travels about 2,000 kilometers off the southeast coast of Australia to beautiful New Zealand where they find the Sauvignon Blanc capital of the world. Taste the sunny beaches and friendly atmosphere through your wine glass and from the comfort of your home.  Good health to you…or as they say in the NZ, “Kia ora!”

In Episode 5 the team heads to Spain–the second largest producer of wine in the world. Enjoy 40 minutes of new facts, some fiction, vital vocabulary, and wine-related existential questions.
