Thanks to everyone who listened to the podcast this season. I've decided to take a break between seasons so I'm not exactly sure when season three will begin.
In the meantime, I'm recording this episode to ask you all to invite your friends to listen. I know the majority of you will hear this and decide not to share. I know this because I've been that person. I'm hoping I'm wrong today. If you would, instead of sharing it as a mass post on your social media accounts, please consider sending a private message or text to someone you think would benefit from the content. Pick 2 or 3 people.
Also I want to remind you about our group on Facebook. facebook.com/groups/simplementalhealth. It's there for you! Please participate and share what's going on with your mental health journey.
Finally, if you're ready to be a stigma breaker, consider this your invitation. I want to hear your story and share it on the podcast. I'm thinking season 3 will be dedicated to our stories. So please email me at [email protected] and tell me your story!!
Thanks for listening. I appreciate it more than you know.

My guest today is Dallis Meyer. In my mind she is sort of a renaissance woman. Just a few hats she wears: Wife, boy mom, roller derby queen married to the roller derby king, coach, general athlete children's ministry leader, nurse, a fabulous singer and my music buddy (stick around to the end to hear what I mean!) and just the best friend anyone could ask for. Dallis has rheumatoid arthritis which causes her lots of pain and discomfort. In dealing with the pain, she also realized the need to tend to her mental health. And we talk all about that.
